Match day seven fixtures out

The Castle Large Premier Soccer League (PSL) match day seven fixtures have been released, and Highlanders will be hoping to end the winless run in style by beating Chicken Inn in a Bulawayo derby to be played at Barbourfields stadium on Saturday.

Although Bosso is winless after six outings, they have some positives to take from their previous matches. They have bullied their opponents in the last three fixtures, dominating possession and creating scoring chances which they however failed to convert.

On Sunday they bombarded Hwange at Barbourfields stadium, but still could not find a goal, in a match were failure to convert chances into goals was the only negative to talk about.

In the previous matches, the technical manager Madinda Ndlovu had been alluding to lack of fitness in his boys, but on Sunday they did not show any signs of lack of fitness – an indication that in terms of fitness, the team is now closer to where the Boss expects them to be.

Highlanders who have lost two, and drew four of their six matches will be hoping to beat their city neighbours to mark a turning point in a season where they started very slow.
