Bosso 90 ready for Thebe’s Mosi Rovers

Bosso 90 head coach Melusi Sibanda predicts a blockbuster when his side hosts the Gift Lunga Jnr coached Mosi Rovers in a Southern Region Division One League match to be played at Crescent Sports Club on Saturday.

Sibanda and Lunga who played for a to a famous four consecutive championship winning Bosso  between 1998 and 2002 clash as coaches for the first time, following Thebe’s appointment as the head coach of the Victoria Falls based side.

The two have been working together in the club’s developmental structures until Lunga was requested by Mosi Rovers last week.

The Bosso 90 head coach said the fact that Lunga knows the team very well should be the telling point, but he will not read much into that as his boys are ready for the challenge.

“It is going to be a very tough game. He knows us. As someone we worked with, he knows our players, their weaknesses and strengths. We are however, not worried about that. The boys’ attitude is very positive. They are 100% focused. I have no doubt it is going to be a very interesting match,” said Sibanda.

The Highlanders developmental side have had a brilliant start to their campaign, winning four and losing one of their opening five matches.

They seat on second position with 12 points, only a point behind log leaders Talen Vision.

Donnet Fosho, Dalubuhle dlodlo, Brighton Makopa, Dominic Jaricha and Tonny Sibanda have been reliable goal scorers for Bosso90 this far, with Jaricha leading the team’s goal scorers chart with three goals.

On the other hand, Mosi Rovers have only picked one point and they had to this match hoping to collect their first three points of the season.
