Bosso 90’s fighting spirit wasn’t enough to secure a point, as they were handed a 2-1 defeat by Bulawayo Warriors in an exciting match at NUST grounds yesterday afternoon.
Bulawayo Warriors took the lead in the first half through their slippery winger, Frank Mthethwa. However, Bosso 90 quickly responded with Nqobile Ndlovu netting a crucial equalizer just before halftime, ensuring the teams went into the break level at 1-1.
The second half saw Bosso 90 push hard for a winning goal, creating several opportunities. But it was Bulawayo Warriors’ Desmond Mukamba who became the hero of the day, snatching all three points with a late goal.
Bosso 90 will be eager to get back to winning ways when they face high-flying Nkayi United this coming Saturday.
