Highlanders FC will travel to Harare this weekend to face Black Rhinos in their second match of the season. The match will kick off at 3 pm at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Bosso will be hoping to pick their first 3 points of the season.
In the previous league, Bosso failed to collect 3 points against Black Rhinos at the National Sports stadium in their opening match of the 2021/2022 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, however, they managed to get the better of Black Rhinos in the second leg when they won 3-2 at Barbour field’s stadium.
Assistant Coach, Antonio Torres told journalists at their match day 2 press conference that the team is hoping to pick their first win of the season in Harare.
“We understand that Black Rhinos is a strong team, but we are hopeful for a win, we owe our fans a win,” said Torres.
Also present at the press conference was Stanley Ngala who told the reporters that the team will do a collective effort to win against Black Rhinos.
“Last week we lost as a team, and this Saturday we are going to win as a team, for our fans,” said Ngala.
Going into this fixture, Black Rhinos overcame Cranbourne Bullets FC by a goal to nil in their opening game of the season, while Highlanders played a goalless draw against ZPC Kariba at BF.
Melikhaya Ncube made his debut for Bosso, playing 90 minutes holding midfield alongside Darlington Mukuli. McKinnon Mushore also made his debut for the club coming in for Ray Lunga in the 73rd minute.
Ray Lunga and Calvin “Kung Fu Panda” Chigonero might miss the match on Saturday due to injuries sustained at training.
