Highlanders FC in partnership with Bead Cradle Craft will be hosting the Highlander’s Culture Day on the 10th of September 2022 at the clubhouse
The culture day, which will be held for the first time, is set to be a yearly fundraising event meant to celebrate the Highlanders Royals and help them raise finances for the team’s basic needs since they do not have a well-established sponsor.
The show will start at 3PM and entry tickets can be purchased for US$2 each at.
Minister of State for Bulawayo Province Honorable Judith Ncube will be the guest of honor.
The theme of the ceremony is strictly cultural, guests will be expected to be in traditional wear and traditional food will be served at US$2 a plate.
Marketing Officer of Bead Cradle, Isabel Sanyeza, said they are excited to be working with a big brand, Highlanders FC, on such a big event.
“It’s such an honor to be working with such a big brand, as Bead Cradle it shows that we are growing and bringing a positive change to the girl child’s life in the community.
“This will show the Highlanders Royal team that they are appreciated and honored by the Highlanders family as a whole”, said Sanyeza.
Bead Cradle is a small non-profit making organization established in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The organisation helps young girls in semi-skilled activities such as bead craft and clay pots which are exhibited in workshops.
The organization is growing in Bulawayo and is situated in various locations which include Emganwini, Nketa, Emakhandeni, and Tshabalala.
