Highlanders’ midfield maestro, Mason Mushore, has been crowned Players’ Player of the Month for September. Meanwhile, the club’s rising defensive star, Tadiwanashe Masanganise, secured the same honor for the ladies’ side.

Mushore’s exceptional performances throughout the month earned him the coveted award, which comes with a US$400 prize courtesy of the Friends of Bosso, a dedicated group of supporters led by Titus Mbongendlu, Phathisani Nkomo, and Mgcini Nkolomi.

“I want to thank God, the coaches, the executive, the sponsors, and the players who voted for me,” said Mushore.

This marks the sixth time a player has been recognized with this honor this season. Marvellous Chigumira, Lynoth Chikuhwa, Brighton Ncube, Raphael Pitisi, and Reward Muza previously claimed the title.

The award ceremony took place at White City Stadium B Arena on Friday afternoon, just before the team’s training session.

Over on the ladies’ side, Tadiwanashe Masanganise’s impressive displays in September earned her the Players’ Player of the Month award. Her teammates voted for her, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the team’s performance.
