Bosso draws in last home game of the season

Highlanders FC played a 1-all draw with ZPC Kariba FC in the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Barbourfields stadium yesterday in their last home game of the season.
Bosso started the game on the front foot, they controlled ball possession and they could have scored in the 7th minute when Adrian Silla’s long-range effort waved over the crossbar.
Bosso was awarded for their effort in the 17th minute of the first half through Stanley Ngala
which left the Bosso fans amazed as it raised hope for them to win over ZPC Kariba FC, the prolific striker scored his 6th goal of the season.
The statistics of the match changed during the 2nd half of the match after 61 minutes of play as ZPC Kariba skipper Foster Dhemere managed to score an equalizer against Bosso. ZPC Kariba managed to overcome a poor pre-season as they became safe from relegation in the league.
During an interview with Highlander’s media, Highlander’s coach Baltimore Brito said they are now focusing on their next game against Harare City.
“We managed to dominate during the first half, unfortunately, this is not the result that we expected because we drew against ZPC Kariba, we now shift our energy to Harare City FC,” said Brito.
Highlanders FC currently ranks 5th position with 51 points while ZPC Kariba holds position 14 with 20 points.
