Highlanders FC is ready to resume their match day 4 of the Castle Premier Soccer League, clash against Whawha FC at Barbourfields on sunday.
The kick off time is 3pm.
During a press conference held at Highlanders Offices, captain Ariel Sibanda said, the team is motivated to take all 3 points against Whawha fc and make Highlanders family happy.
“It’s been long since we last played and the team is ready and happy to play Whawha” said Sibanda.
‘’We have manged to beef up our team with 3 players namely Raphel Pitisi a junior goal keeper from Telone, Stanley Ngala and Rahman Kustanzira both from FC Platinum’, said technical manager Mandla Mpofu.
According to Mpofu , the team is focused and one problem has been solved , he believes the coming of Ngala from FC Platinum will solve a goal drought problem.
Highlanders lost 2-0 away to Black Rhinos in the opening match before holding Ngezi platinum Stars to a goalless draw at Barbourfields Stadium.
The third game league ended in 1-0 away loss to Manica Diamonds.
‘’we started badly, but those games are now history, our main focus and energy is being channelled towards Whawha’’, said Mpofu.
