Head Coach Kelvin Kaindu is impressed with his team’s progress two weeks into the Castle Lager PSL 2024 season.
The gaffer is confident the team is heading in the right direction.
Speaking during a pre-match media briefing at the club offices ahead of Friday’s clash with Simba Bhora at home (Barbourfields Stadium) Kaindu told the media his charges are moving in the right direction and are doing everything right to get the desired results.
“We are heading somewhere in terms of what we are looking for, having come from the international break.” said Kaindu.
The boys have so far collected four points from a possible six.
They defeated Dynamos 2-1 on match day one and drew with Bulawayo Chiefs before the March international break that ended on 26 March.
Coach Kaindu remains positive ahead of Friday’s fixture against Simba Bhora.
“Simba Bhora have assembled a very strong team, they went on the market and they got what they were looking for and it’s not easy to face teams like these” added the gaffer.
Furthermore, he believes the boys should make use of home advantage.
“We are going in this game knowing that we are facing a very strong team but we will take the advantage that we are playing at home.”
The match is scheduled to kickoff at 3pm.
