Bosso shifts attention to next assignments

Following a 1-3 away defeat to Harare City on Saturday, Highlanders have refocused and and concentrated on preparations for their next fixtures against Dynamos and Triangle in the Independence and Castle Larger Premier Soccer League matches to be played on Thursday and Monday respectively.

Bosso will clash with perennial rivals Dynamos in the Independence Cup on Thursday at National Sports Stadium.

On Monday Bosso will continue with the search of an elusive first win of the 2019 PSL season when they play hosts Triangle FC at Barbourfields stadium.

Bosso is enduring a slow start to the season, having drawn two and lost one of their three opening matches.

On Saturday they suffered their first defeat of the season when Harare City’s trio of Munyaradzi Diro-Nyeye, Walter Mukanga and Tatenda Tumba scored a goal each to complete City’s come back after Prince Dube had put Highlanders ahead in the 25th minute.

The Bulawayo giants had played to a 1-1 draw against Black Rhinos in their season opener before drawing 0-0 with CAPS United at Barbourfields stadium.

Highlanders have a good record against Triangle FC at Barbourfields stadium, and they will be hoping to maintain that good record.

Since they were promoted to top flight football in 2013, Triangle is yet to win a league match against Highlanders at Emagumeni, having been beaten three times, and drawing the same number of games.
