Highlanders FC  will be facing Bulawayo Chiefs at Barbourfields stadium on Sunday 8 May for another Premier Soccer league clash.

The match will kick off at 3pm.

During a press conference held at the Highlanders offices Technical manager Mandla Mpofu said the boys are well prepared and ready to face Bulawayo chiefs.

‘’Yes it was tough game against Chicken inn but will try to soldier on and collect maximum points against Bulawayo Chiefs FC’’, said Mpofu.

Mpofu also added that Nqobizitha Masuku will miss this fixture due to injury while former player for amakhosi Andrew Tandi will also miss this tie due to suspension.

Mpofu has also been boosted by the return of Ray lunga who has been sidelined for 2 months.

Highlanders and Bulawayo Chiefs last met in the Chibuku super cup on 30 September 2021 at Barbour field’s stadium where Amahlolanyama collected maximum points.

Highlanders are on position 12 on the premier soccer league log with 15 points while Bulawayo chiefs is in position 8 with 17 points in the kitty.

Supporters attending the match will be required to produce their vaccination certificates by the gates.
