Highlanders FC have parted ways with their technical manager Mandla Mpofu and his back room staff on 18 May 2022.
The backroom stuff consists of assistant Coach Bekithemba Ndlovu, goal keepers coach Julius Ndlovu, Fitness trainer Nhachi Harold and welfare manager Vezigama Dlodlo
Second assistant coach Joel Luphahla who joined the club early this year survived the axing.
In a statement released by the club, the decision was informed by the team’s unsatisfactory performance which resulted in the team seating on unfamiliar position on the log table.
“We would like to thank Mpofu and his stuff for selfless contribution to our club and will cherish all the memories”, read the statement.
The club wishes Mpofu and his team the best in their future endeavours.
In the interim, Joel Luphahla will be conducting the team training sessions, pending the announcement of the new technical team.
